Pretty thrilled to be involved in this little adventure.
Tasmania isn’t like other places, and Tasmanians aren’t like other people. I'm lucky enough to work with a passionate team of Tasmanians at Brand Tasmania, my days filled with uncovering the stories behind the people.
At the end of 2021, Brand Tasmania — with our friends in the Trade Tasmania team — asked a small handful of our many talented, hardworking producers to help us tell the story of Tasmanian food and beverage. We spent four weeks over three months chasing sunrises and sunsets in every nook and cranny of the state, meeting producers and finding out why they do what they do, what makes it so special, and why it can only happen here.

We also hand-picked some talented Tasmanian creatives to bring along for the ride.
Joshua Lamont (cinematography), Jazz and Tim Upton (photography), and Leuke Marriott & Max Crosswell (ACs) worked together to bring the story to life — which left me free to creep around behind the scenes and capture the magic happening behind the cameras.

Many early starts, late nights, wet feet, good food, great drinks, bee stings (not me), car fruit mince pies (mostly me), and amazing people gladly opening their doors and hearts and lives to us.
